PROJECT OVERVIEW

Client: O & H Hampton

Location: Hampton Hargate, Peterborough

Architect: Ruddle Wilkinson

Materials: 3,000m2 of VM Zinc and 30,000m of softwood boarding.

The carbon-friendly and zero maintenance qualities of zinc made it the preferred choice for the roof of this new build school at the giant Hampton Hargate residential development.

Zero Maintaince products were a key issue to this educational client and CEL brought this to the roof, facia and eaves of this new school using VM Zinc

The developers who were funding the school – the first to be built on the site – had no hesitation in calling in The CEL Group to complete the project.

Some 3,000m2 of VM zinc were used in the standing seam cold-roof system, which should provide around 80 years of zero maintenance.
