As the original Flag Fen Visitor Centre aged and the number of visitors increased, a new building was required.
Architects Archimage wanted something in keeping with the Bronze Age site and developed a roof in a shield design. Flag Fen was clad in natural copper, using the standing seam method with batten roll hips to give it substance by The CEL Group
